 Gloria has been a resident of Kelowna since 1979 having moved from Calgary and in that time with her husband has raised two sons. She has been selling real estate since 1990 with Royal LePage. Gloria specializes in Residential sales including homes, Townhomes and Condos. As a long time resident and real estate agent Gloria has gained a strong knowledge of Kelowna, West Kelowna, Peachland, Winfield, Oyama, and Big White. Gloria ran in the Vancouver Marathon in May 2007 and was successful in raising over $5,800.00 For the Royal Lepage Shelter Foundation, with the help of friends, colleagues and business associates. It was also the most money raised by a single realtor in Royal Lepage history. I also ran the Victoria half marathon in October 2007, and then the Kelowna Half-Marathon in 2008. No fund raising for these ones, just trying to stay fit and to continue to run with a healthy, positive group of athletes. I then started training for a Full Marathon in the fall of 2008 to run the 2009 in Vancouver, but while training, fell and injured my shoulder. In March 2009 I had extensive surgery which put me out of the race, so I am hoping in 2011 to give it another try - still stepping out of my comfort zone. If I accomplish that, there will be an even larger smile on my face at the finish line. “The journey always begins with the first step” |
