The folks up at Wilden are gearing up for their annual Wilden Creativity Day. The event was designed to celebrate local creativity and wild ideas in art, music, food and home design.
Wilden Creativity Day is free to attend and runs from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m on Sunday, August 13th. It will take place at the new Wilden Presentation Centre at 1454 Rocky Point Drive in Kelowna. The event specifically champions young artists, something that Wilden Director/Marketing Manager, Karin Eger-Blenk, is passionate about.
There will be musical performances during the afternoon – featuring original music – from Michael Huber, Nicole Holkestad and Adam Meachem, while their will be an art exhibition showcasing the works of Rho Shaw, Pamela Turner and Jackie Deck – all recent graduates of UBC Okanagan.
Check out Adam Meachem’s guitar work here:
There will also be vendors on location offering local goodness to keep you feeling refreshed during the festivities – you’ll find chocolate samples by Karat Chocolate, gelato from QB Gelato, kombucha from MotherLove Ferments, wine from The Vibrant Vine and OKGN Beer (a collaboration between BNA Brewing Co. and Okanagan Lifestyle).
You will also have the chance to tour Wilden’s new showhome and see the creativity and innovation that they bring to their field.
Don’t miss out on this free opportunity to celebrate local creativity – round up your friends and family and pay a visit to Wilden Creativity Day 2017. You can learn more about the event HERE.
