Would you like to experience Kelowna’s harvest in the most delicious way possible? If you answered yes (and really, who would say no?), here is your chance… tickets are now on sale for the delightful roving feast known as Feast of Fields!
Now, we’re very lucky to have so many awesome events that take place in Kelowna, but I have to say; Feast of Fields is not only one of my favourite Kelowna events of the summer, it is one of my favourite Kelowna cultural events of the year.
After all, you get to spend an afternoon wandering a local farm gobbling gourmet creations from some of our region’s very best chefs, bakers, brewers and food artisans. Can you think of a better way to spend a Sunday afternoon? I’m not sure I can.
The annual event is a fundraiser for FarmFolk CityFolk – a “not for profit society that works to cultivate a local, sustainable food system.” This year’s event will be Kelowna’s ninth installment of Feast of Fields, while there are also editions in Metro Vancouver and Vancouver Island.
Feast of Fields 2017 is set for Sunday, August 13th from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Caldwell Heritage Farm (4275 Goodison Rd, Kelowna). Tickets are available for $95 and are well worth it! You can buy tickets HERE.
Superb food and drink in a beautiful setting – is there a more authentic Kelowna experience than that?
