Is it just us or has this been the longest Okanagan winter ever? We’re starting to get cabin fever over here, but thankfully there’s a cure! The first ever Lake Country Folk Fest offers up some fun for the locals and brings the community together in just a couple of weeks.
This brand-new festival takes place on March 18th and features 10 acts on three stages at the Creekside Theatre. The doors open at 6:30 PM and the festival runs until 10 PM, giving you plenty of time to soak in the folk festival vibe with acts from across BC.
In true folk-fest fashion, there will also be vendors on hand to ensure you don’t go hungry or thirsty. Kelowna-based Kettle River Brewing will be offering Okanagan craft beer and two food trucks will be parked outside; Surf Side California Street Food and Real Pizza. Be sure to bring a bit of cash and your appetite!
The night’s entertainment will be provided by a blend of local and provincial acts, offering something for everyone. Headliners for the Lake Country Folk Fest include Ari Neufeld, El Mariachi Los Dorados, and Lion Bear Fox.
